How to study with this

  1. Answer before you flip

Say or write the answer first. Recognizing an answer after flipping feels like knowing it, but only recalling it builds memory.

  2. Sort as you go

Put each card into “know”, “almost” or “don't know”. Go through the “don't know” pile again until it's empty, then stop.

  3. Space your reviews

Review again tomorrow, then in a few days, then a week later. Short sessions spread out beat one long session the night before.

Frequently asked questions

How many flashcards does it make?

The free tool makes 5 cards per run. Create a free account to save them and generate more — whole decks from full lectures and PDFs, at easy, standard or exam level, with every card editable.

Can I upload a PDF?

Yes — PDFs with selectable text, up to 5 MB and 10 pages. We use up to about 8,000 characters of text.

How do I keep my flashcards?

Click “Save and generate more” and create a free account. Your material is imported so you can generate more cards, review them with spaced repetition and make quizzes from the same notes.

Are the flashcards always correct?

They're written only from the text you give us, but AI can make mistakes. If a card looks wrong, check your notes — and edit it once you've saved the set.

Do you keep my file or text?

We read your text to generate the result and don't save the file or add anything to an account. If you choose “Save and generate more”, the text is kept in your browser until you create a free account and import it.
