AI Disclaimer

TurboStudy uses AI to help you study. Here's what that means: AI can be wrong, readiness is an estimate rather than a grade prediction, and TurboStudy is for learning — not for academic dishonesty.

Last updated: October 5, 2026

1.AI can be wrong

TurboStudy uses AI to create notes, summaries, flashcards, quizzes, practice exams, transcripts, explanations and tutor answers from the material you upload. AI can make mistakes. Generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, oversimplified or out of date — even when it cites your material, and even when it sounds confident.

  • An answer key or explanation can occasionally be wrong.
  • A summary can leave out something your instructor considers important.
  • Transcripts can mishear words, names, numbers and formulas.
  • When the tutor goes beyond your material, it labels that part “General knowledge” — treat it with extra care.

2.Verify against your course material

Your course material and your instructors are the authority — not TurboStudy. Before you rely on anything important, check it against the source. Notes, flashcards and quiz explanations include references to the page, slide or timestamp they came from to make that quick.

If something looks wrong, trust your course material and let us know so we can improve.

3.Exam Readiness is an estimate, not a grade prediction

The Exam Readiness Score is an estimate of how prepared you are, calculated from your practice in TurboStudy — quizzes, active recall, flashcards and practice exams, how much of the course you've covered and how recently you've practiced. Each score comes with a confidence level that shows how much evidence is behind it.

  • Readiness is an estimate based on your TurboStudy activity and uploaded material. It does not predict your actual grade.
  • TurboStudy can't know what will be on your exam. Professor Profile and Exam Blueprint estimate what your course material emphasizes; they don't reveal actual exam content.
  • Recommendations about what to study next are suggestions based on your results, not instructions.

4.No guaranteed results

TurboStudy is designed to help you study more effectively, but it does not guarantee any grade, score or academic outcome. How you do depends on many things TurboStudy can't see or control. See our Terms of Service for the full terms.

5.Use TurboStudy to learn — not to cheat

TurboStudy is a study tool. Using it for academic dishonesty is not allowed. That means:

  • Don't use TurboStudy during graded exams, quizzes or other assessments.
  • Don't submit AI-generated content as your own work where your school or instructor doesn't allow it.
  • Don't upload exams, tests or answer keys you aren't authorized to use or share.
  • Follow your school's academic integrity rules and your instructors' policies on AI.

We may suspend or close accounts used for academic dishonesty.

6.Not professional advice

Generated content is for studying only. It is not medical, legal, financial, mental-health or other professional advice, even when your course covers those subjects.

7.Report a problem

Found an answer that's wrong, or content that shouldn't be there? Report it or email support@turbostudy.app. Telling us which page and what you expected helps us fix it faster.
